Sean and I celebrated our first Valentines Day together. This was my first Valentine's Day with a boyfriend in AGES. Literally, I think its been well over 5+ years. Sadly, Sean came down with a really bad cold that has been kicking his butt for a week now so we kept it super low key. We picked up Chinese take out and exchanged gifts. Sean got me an orchid, a really sweet card and two tickets to upcoming shows. 1. The Royal Winnipeg Ballet performing Moulin Rouge this weekend!!! 2. Foster the People in June. It is going to be a big show. We just met their lighting guy at the last Young the Giant show so I am pretty sure (and crossing my fingers) we can get backstage too!! ahhhh!! That would be dope!
My gift
I made him a photobook from Shutterfly that told him how much I love him. He really really really loved it. He told me over and over again how much he appreciates it and how cool it is seeing all of our pictures printed out together. We really have done so much together already. Here is the book if you can handle the mushy love stuff. ;-)
It's nice to have someone to finally share the day with. I've been patient (and hopefully not too cynical) and it was worth the wait.
