Sean officially became a member of Halogen this weekend!!
Yay!
He attended the membership class (which ended up being a
really powerful time of one on one with Izzy that he really enjoyed) to hear
what our church is about and to make sure he was educated in making the
decision to call this his church home. He gladly accepted and was welcomed into
our church family this Sunday with a covering of prayer, and a cool diploma
looking thing, you know, to really make it official.
Words cannot describe how happy and joyful this makes my heart.
I sat in my seat alone (or occasionally good friends like Frances would join
me) for so many years. Diligently praying with a hopeful and faithful heart that
one day that seat next to me would be permanently filled with someone the Lord lead me to.
It took a solid 4 ½ years of waiting and praying, but He is faithful.
That chair is now filled and I pray that it is His will that
Sean is in my life and in my church family forever cause I sure don’t want him
going anywhere. :)
