Portishead @ The Shrine

Last night, Sean and I met up with Scotty and Jon for Portishead at the Shrine (on the USC campus). This show was super epic because Portishead has been around for a few decades now and they NEVER, EVER tour. You might remember them from the early 90's. Their album Dummy is on the Rolling Stones top 500 albums of all time and had 3 major singles. I wish I could take credit for loving them back then, but honestly, although I recall the songs, I was late in falling in love with it.
It was a chill, mellow show. Their music is so chill and romantic. It was especially nice being there with my sweetheart and he loves them. They were on his top 3 that he really wanted to see live and it was cool to share in that with him.
Here is a video from the show that some shot who was a little closer than we were. This is probably one of my favorite songs by them.
