Weekend with Mom

Sadly, Taylor and Dick had to head back to S.F. after such a quick weekend here but I was thankful cause I got to keep my mama around for awhile longer! Yippee! We hadn't decided how we were going to spend the day until last minute when we devised with the perfect plan. After we all got caught up on our Saturday festivities over coffee and breakfast goodies, Dick and Taylor went to catch their flight and my mom and I headed south bound on PCH and I stopped off in Hermosa Beach. We decided to go for a run from Hermosa pier to Manhattan pier and then spend some time on the beach. Awh yea. Beaches and bitches. Haha LOL Okay, maybe not, but it was the best plan EVER!!! We ended up running a little farther than the pier and really enjoyed soaking up some sun.

We then spent the evening at Halogen and ate some bomb In & Out at like 10pm. Awesome.

Mom spent the next day while I was at work beach cruisin on my bike, meeting up with my bff Jelena and her baby, eatin bomb tacos at Sanchos Tacos (my boss and I joined for lunch), and pretty much being me on a weekend. haha. lol! 

We ALSO went to dinner at Buca Di Bepo and then met up with my BOYYYYfriend for yogurt at my favorite yogurt spot (and our first date). Yay, my mom got to meet my man! It went awesome of course. There was one point when they were talking about golf and then the pastor of Sean's church and I really didn't know anything about what they were talking about. haha. It was great. I love it. She had already heard from Jelena earlier in the day about how much she approves and loves him so she'd already got the green light from my besties. Of course she thinks he's adorable and sweet. I wish we could've spent longer together. I look forward to many fun times ahead. It was a quick trip but good times and good memories indeed.
