Taylor and I go to Disneyland!

Me and my little stepbrother at Disneyland!

My mom and Dick are in town for a quick weekend trip to a wedding in Malibu. Being it was a Taylor weekend, we talked about the possibility of Taylor and I hanging out while they were at the wedding. I also threw out the idea that maybe the two of us could go to Disneyland or something. They asked Taylor about it and he said, "Oh yea, I like that idea!" :) I was super stoked. Not only have I not really had a chance to spend time just me and him, I was totally ridiculously excited to go to the happiest place on earth! haha. I haven't been there in 4 years! Taylor is already turning 13 in a month and I am glad we had a chance to do this before he is a crazy teenager and way too cool for his older stepsister (although, I doubt that will ever be the case because he is such a sweet, kind hearted guy, and I will always be the super rad, awesome, older stepsister haha).
We had a nice lunch with mom and Dick near LAX before heading down to Anaheim. All I wanted was a dang churro, but we stopped first to wander the shops on main street and then hit the Indiana Jones ride. Taylor and I were in the very front of the jeep and he even got to "steer" haha.

Then I finally got my churro.... haha

Me and Tay with our churros by the castle.

Another one of us by a waterfall but I couldn't get the waterfall that well.

We were super bummed that Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion were closed! Rip off. BUUUT we got to see the new Star Tours 3D. It was pretty freaking cool dude. And come to find out they have like 50 different tours you can go on. We met this total Star Wars nerd who worked there and he told us ALLLLLL about it. Seriously. We almost couldn't get away from this guy. It was funny.

3D nerd glasses

Haha!
Of course they have an app for that!

Having fun in the photobooth.
So then, after we ate a bomb diggity corn dog, we found our new latest obsession. Vinylmation.
I can't explain it but I'll try.
They are these awesome 3 inch themed Mickey figurines. They are super artistic and a part of a series and the real catch is, you don't know what figure you get when you buy it. You buy this little cube box and inside is a foil wrapped baggy. In the bag is your figurine and the artist signature and card. They are so freaking cool and ridiculously addicting. Something about not knowing which one you are going to get and that excitement as you open it is such a blast.

Taylor and I had so much fun getting them. I can't believe I spend money on toys but, what can you do? It's the happiest place on earth, I'm there with a 12 year old, and somehow I got transported back in time and needed to buy toys! haha.
I got Scooter from the Muppets and  the big baby from Toy Story (Thanks to Taylor who bought it for me as a gift. I also got a lady bug key chain (not pictured).
I'd like to say they were just a fun thing Taylor and I did but I actually really do love these little things. I don't see myself buying crap loads of them, but I am really into them. I actually really love that they are so artistic.
Taylor and I had such a good time and definitely made some fun memories. And THAT is what big stepsisters are for.
