After I finished some chores on Saturday, Peila and I hung out and I took some more pictures of Rook now that her ears stood up and she really looks like a baby shepherd. Here are my favorites:
Fuzzy bunny feets
Shepherd run
hahaha
Huh?
Rawr!
Wolf eyes
Where's my ball? Have you seen it?
I love this pic! I gotta hold this one like a baby too. She loves her Auntie Amy already!
Next stop, after we wore the shepherd out, we met up with Sean and his buddy Darren for lunch/early dinner at On the Border in Aliso Viejo. It was sooooo good! We had huge frosty schooners of beer, bomb guacamole, and fun times together. Sean won super points with Peila, she thinks he's great, and I was just stoked that they got to meet. He passed BFF test #1! Yay!
Look at that super smile I am wearing! My happy place.
A panorama I took of everyone enjoying the eats on the patio.
Peila went back home to that shepherd, but Derek and Sean and I continued on to play some miniature golf at Boomers. I was sure I was going to get my butt beat down but I tied Derek for 1st! We both scored 53 and Sean came in close with 56. I was killing it at first and then two holes totally rocked me and it took me like 6 shots! Ugh. We had fun though.
Derek, Sean and I at the 14th hole.
Isn't he just the cutest thing you've ever seen? heehee. We played some airhockey which Sean won in a tournament and I beat him in racing (cause I dominate racing games). It was fun. I made it home early enough to watch the movie Salt before bed and not get to bed too late. Geeze, I already can't wait to see him again.
Sunday, I spend all day in the house doing chores, laundry, and gardening on my patio. I really haven't spent much time on my flowers and garden so it felt really good. I cleaned out all the spider webs, replanted my cilantro that had turned into a weed somehow, replanted more impatients, planted a little purple petunia, and took these shots of my beautiful beloved plumeria...
My attempt at a panoramic pic on my finished patio but it made it look kinda weird. I also got a new BBQ cover because my last one ripped really bad. I like it a lot because it fits better (almost all the way to the ground). See it over there?
Herbs, impatients, and a gnome...all cleaned up!
I love the lighting in my home on the weekends. Man I wish I spent more time here during the day. Its so beautiful.
Just having fun with my wide angle around the house.
I ended the beautiful afternoon with a dip in the pool and I had the WHOLE pool to myself! I was able to take a nap and read my book in peace. It was divine.
Halogen was beautiful too. "With all creation I sing, praise to the King of Kings, You are my everything, and I will adore you!"
Heart = full.
