Kaelyn Turns 3!

I went home this weekend for Kaelyn's 3rd birthday. Yes, 3rd! Where is the time going? I just want it to stop some times because it is all going so, so, fast. She is growing up to be the most amazing, beautiful little girl I've ever met. Although, this weekend wasn't her official birthday party, we made a sweet family party out of her special weekend. I was soooooo stoked that my brother got the weekend off! He's been working double overtime at his new job at Morning Star and weekends off have been hard to come by but he was able to get Saturday off to spend time with us. I miss my brother so much and all the time I can get with him I cherish.

We started off at an early La Nita's lunch. Their chips, salsa and carrots are my favorite in the whole world!
Seriously cute.

Chillin with mama on her iPhone.

I got this video showcasing how ADORABLE Kaelyn is. "What is dis?"

Reading her card.
Opening the present I gave her.
Whats this?
Playing with her new laptop from Auntie Amy. I'm not sure what we are doing but we are very serious about it. haha
She was really into it and really liked it.
"I'm 3"
"One, two, three, right Mama?"
Look at how happy and excited she is in these pictures....

Mama got her a cool new bike with no petals to help her learn how to balance on a bike.

Mama showed her how to ride it.
Brother and his corn.... haha

That night we went to a Fresno Grizzles game. I was pretty much exhausted by then, and fell asleep on the way down there, (thankfully Andrew drove) but it was fun. I love minor league games!
Look at the way she looks at Taylor. They had fun together.

My brother caught a foul ball!!! It was crazy. It literally bounced right behind him. Here is Kae with the ball.
Brothers caught ball and the ball Taylor brought and had signed.
What is Pnut doing at the table?
Playing with Mama....

Seriously. Beautiful.
I love her sooooo much. I am always so exhausted when I am there and always feel like I can't even fully enjoy it because I never get enough sleep and it is so much work to do on my own. But then I think about how fast she is growing up, and what a beautiful little girl she is and it is always worth it.
I also got to hang out with my dad. We went to this new Chinese buffet that was pretty good and enjoyed talking about ghosts, spirits, and religion, and catching up on the latest. He also got me an awesome fully automatic film Minolta.
I've never shot a fully automatic film camera so I am so anxious to see how it goes. And, I can use it for my upcoming wedding I will be shooting. It has a 20-80 lens so I'll be able to do more zoom than I can currently do on my digital. It is an early birthday present. I am excited!
I love weekends with my family.
Now, if I can find a way to do it all AND get some sleep that would be perfect.
3 - 4 day weekend next time I go up there. :)
