Mumford and Sons = My favorite boys

My favorite boys, Mumford and Sons, played a show in Hollywood on Monday. Originally, Scotty and I were going to go but last minute he decided he couldn't because of work. I was bummed. Simultaneously, Randy called to see if I wanted to go because he had an extra ticket. So, we ended up having two tickets that were not used. :( I ended up going with Randy because to pick up Scotty's ticket would have required me to drive 15 miles in the opposite direction. I was really sad Scotty couldn't make it, as was he. I text messaged him and sent him pics the entire show though.
I am a little bummed that they are getting so big. Both shows were sold out and the Palladium is a fairly large venue. I was not nearly as close as I was for their show at the Henry Fonda Theater in June, but being on the floor is always fun. I met some rad chicks that were next to us after this girl got all crazy with me and I almost fought her, but, she was a lot bigger than me so I talked crap to her for awhile and then shut up. Everyone around was telling me what an evil wench she was and that I was totally in the right, so she got pissed and left the floor. haha! Yeahhh more room for us!
The show was awesome as usual. After the storm was my favorite song and it is probably my favorite song of theirs. It's like a lullaby and the line, "Get over your hill and see, what you find there, with grace in your heart, and flowers in your hair" is my favorite line of the whole album. To hear them sing it live is like the best thing.
I warned Randy to be prepared to fall in love with these guys and even he couldn't help but to dig them so much more after seeing them live. They are so passionate and you can tell by their big smiles and numerous complements to the audience that they absolutely live and breathe their music and love every minute and all of us. Its just so nice to feel so appreciated. No wonder it was a sold out show.

My happy to see Mumford face.

Originally how far back I was.

They moved to the front of the stage and I could get a lot closer as the crowd gathered in. They played a song called Sister that I've never heard and they played it all acoustic with no amps at all. Below is the video of them singing that song. Beautiful

You have to turn it up a lot because they are playing with no amps or mics. LOOOVE!
