Crystal Cove with the Rogers

Sean and I went with Kerry Lynn, Stefan, and little Mackenzie to Crystal Cove last Saturday. I hadn’t been there but had heard of it and wanted to go. They recently remolded an area of it and are going to continue to remodel some of the “cottages” along the coastline. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crystal_Cove_State_Park It is where the movie Beaches was filmed (nope never saw it…not a Midler fan). It is such a beautiful little nook but then again I could probably say that about every inch of coastline from Long Beach to San Diego.

The weather was perfect as we explored. It never ceases to amaze me how gorgeous it can be in January here. We walked the entire length of it and then back to the car. I had both of my Nikon's and Sean and I had fun taking a bunch of pictures. I got some good ones of little Mackenzie and family shots too.

After, we worked up a hunger we went back to their house in the Newport Beach hills and ate some bomb pasta, watched some tv and got to play with the baby. I’ll tell you what, that baby freaking loves me. I’m pretty sure at least cause she always falls asleep when I hold her and I know what she needs if she starts to cry a little bit. It feels soooo good to get some baby love time in.
