Becka and her little girl Nikkilyn came to town for the day. It was Becka's 29th birthday yesterday and so she brought Nikki's aunt Katelyn and they spent the day on the beach, shopping, and sharing dinner with me. I was honored to show them around. We walked along main street in Huntington Beach while they had the farmers market going on and then looked for a place for dinner. We ended up at the Huntington Beach Beer Company. I've never been so it was a fun new spot to check out. They had an awesome happy hour going on with $2 tacos, 50% off appetizers and 50% their in house brews! Money!!! It was great! I really liked their ale.
We got to catch up and talk over some good food. It was perfect. It was a quick trip but I enjoyed the company none the less. We met right before our 19th birthday so we toasted our glass to the next 10 years as friends and wondered where the heck the time has gone. Her little girl is already 6! 1st grade! My goodness.
