Tiffany's wedding and the beginning of vacation take #1

My week long vacation technically kicked off with my cousin Tiffany’s bachelorette party and wedding. I can’t believe my little cousins are one by one getting married and having babies. Sometimes, I just want to pause time, like, okay, no one else get married, have babies, get older, change, or anything.  I’m good! But that’s just not reality. Everyone and everything is always changing. I know, that’s some Buddhism impermanence stuff huh? It’s crazy.
The wedding was really beautiful. It was held on the beach in Malibu. Seriously, dolphins and seals were playing in the background while the ceremony was going on! It couldn’t have been a prettier day, or sunset for a wedding. I was really happy my brother, Erika, and baby were able to make it too. The day was complete. Here are a couple quick shots of the wedding:

 Whooo hooo!! Married!!

Nothing compares to the time spent with family laughing, dancing, and celebrating. I pray that we have many more of the awesome times of laughter and tears of joy than any other.

Even my baby was getting down. Check her out:

My party girl and her curly haired BFF! You have no idea how awesome I think this shot is.

After a crazy limo ride and fun in the lobby of the hotel….we all made it safely into our beds.

The next day I happened to kidnap Tiffany’s good friend Pebbles and due to a minor scheduling conflict on her part, we made the most of a missed/postponed flight, and I took her down to Huntington Beach with me. It happened to be the best decision because her flight was canceled twice and unbeknownst to us, she would’ve sat at the airport all day, instead, she did not have to pay the $130 flight change fee and she got to see more of California. Praise the Lord! I was really thankful to have the opportunity to show her the beauty of Orange County. We drove from HB (after a walk around the wetlands) down to Laguna Beach. It was a gorgeous evening. She had never seen the sunset on the ocean before! She walked around the tide pools (where she put her finger in a sea anemone for the first time ever), cliff sides, along the sand and video tapped the whole thing.
Pebbles and her walking stick...video taping everything.

The Montage Hotel. One of my favorite places in Laguna.

We found this amazing spot to watch the sunset:

We both felt the clear awe of God’s glorious creation.

We stopped off at the Montage to warm by the fire.

We then went to Joe’s Crabs Shack and grubbed on a Crab and Lobster bucket. Haha We had to stick with the ocean theme. Haha
After almost 45 minutes she finally came around to the pups and realized they aren't trying to kill her but want to smother her with love, cuddles, and kisses instead.

What good is it to accomplish your dream to live where you love and not share it with others? I have the room to open my home and share these experiences with people who appreciate it and if it someone leaves inspired, fulfilled, happy, relaxed, and in awe of God's love and faithfulness, it was alll worth it.

I took Pebbles to LAX the next day and continued my road trip up the central coast to Cayucous....
