I arrived in Cayucos on Tuesday June 21st and will be here until Friday June 24th before continuing up north a little more to San Francisco. I arrived in good time and good spirits and went on a walk with the family along the cloudy beach. It was hard to leave the warm So-Cal sunshine.
The next day we got up and went to Hearst Castle. It was my first trip there! Although, it isn't really my style or taste, I really loved the statues and the gardens. The Pools were also FABULOUS!Neptune pool

We even went to the Great American Melodrama & Vaudeville (http://www.americanmelodrama.com/). I didn't take any pictures but it was a really cute little show. it was called Butch Cassidy and the Sunburnt Kid. It was funny. I haven't seen a live show in a long time!
It was a fun and relaxing three days and now its time for the next phase in my vacation road trip extravaganza... San Francisco!
