Daisy goes under the knife

I thought Daisy had an abscess on her tooth from lack of brushing her teeth. Sick picture I know sorry, but here is what it looks like. Pnut watches in the background. Haha!





So I took her to the vet today and turns out it's probably a benign tumor (called an Epulis fibromatous). They are going to remove it on friday, clean her teeth, and then test it and make sure it's not malignant. They might have to remove the tooth if it's affected because it does look like it's pushing her tooth out.
Thankfully, it's only going to cost me about $350 out the door which is better then the $500-$800 amount I was sure it was going to cost. This vet is an old school guy and really reasonable. I'll probably take Pnut in for teeth cleaning too since he only charges $200 and he really needs it. Can you believe he is already 7 years old and Daisy is already 6 on June 1st!? When they get this old they need their teeth cleaned and then I'll start brushing them more often.
Anyhow, I think Daisy will be fine but keep the little Mae Mae in your prayers on Friday while she's under the knife. I'll keep u posted.
