Bring it 2011 and so long 2010

It’s hard to believe 2010 is already coming to a close. I look forward to celebrating the New Year with close friends from Halogen in Hollywood and entering into 2011 with the people I love the most in Southern California.
I entered into 2010 in a relationship, living at Tortuga, and thinking life was pretty darn good not knowing what the year had in store for me. I had no clue that by the end of the year, I would be moved into a different condo, single again, and more content and confident than I’ve ever felt.
The only real low blows this year was smashing my Vic and requiring a thousand dollars in repairs…other than that, I came out fairly unscathed.
There were definitely a lot more highs for example, I acquired Niko my Nikon that has awoken a deep passion in my heart for photography and I look forward to furthering that artistic outlet in 2011. I also finally got my flat screen to enjoy movies and wii playing, and having friends over more often to enjoy it with me. I completed 1 half marathon, 1-10k, and got first place in my division in the Manhattan Beach 5k. Although I am bringing an extra 5 pounds into the New Year, I have been working really hard to maintain my level of physical fitness and I am pumping much more iron which I like to think is to blame for the 5 pounds. Haha! My family and friends are healthy and leading amazing lives, I went to a lot of concerts, had a good handful of fun adventures, saw some great movies, drank some good beer, took some phenomenal pictures, learned how to SNOWBOARD, and have entrusted every step to my Lord.
I feel this year I matured spiritually and my heart has been molded and deepened in my relationship with God. I didn’t know I could continue to fall in love and be shaped by Him. It has truly been amazing.
I think above everything I enter into 2011 with peace and contentment in my heart. I have hope that 2011 will be another year of transformation. Besides possibly watching more classic movies, sticking to some financial goals, and continuing my level of physical fitness, I am not bringing many resolutions because I’m really cool with the way things are.
I hope 2011 moves me closer to finding who the Lord has prepared for me, to move me along in my job and direction in my career at Clean Energy, and to find my path in my true passion, photography.
Bring it 2011, let me see what you got!
