I had my new GE stove and microwave delivered Saturday morning. The stupid delivery people said they would be here at 8am and they didn't show up until 11:45! lame. It look sooo good though! And, since I woke up super early I got a lot done around the new pad. It's going really well!

My new stove and microwave!! I love it!
Saturday, after all my chores were done, I took Sheets and met up with Christa and Greg and some of their friends at Fred's in HB (I know, two weeks in a row!). It was fun. Then, Sheets and I went and saw Inception. I loved it!! Sheets had seen it 2 times already. I think it was great because it used sci-fi ideas mixed in with real concepts that happen in dreams. I also love movies that make you think and let you draw your own conclusion. I think the beauty of the movie was that just like your dreams, it was open to interpretation. Everyone comes away talking about what they thought it meant and why. Yea, go see it!

Haha Greg looks funny.

Sunday, I met up with Patrick in Surfside (he lives in Seal Beach) and we rode together on our bikes to the pier for the US Open Surf Competition. Here is my route:
It was a beautiful day. Patrick was really thankful I asked him to come on the ride cause he's only been here a few weeks. I was super stoked cause I usually do that ride by myself and it was way more fun with someone else!
It was PACKED at the pier. I ate an amazing hot dog and other stuff I brought in a packed lunch. We walked around and people watched. Look how packed the beach was...
They pretty much built this whole city of sorts on the sand. Pretty cool.

I saw a guy do a 360 degree turn on A WAVE! Sadly, I didn't get a video of it but I did take this video real quick...
Pretty sweet. The real tough competition starts next weekend and Weezer is playing a free show. I am supposed to go camping with Halogen so I'm gonna miss it.
Fun in the sun! I love summer!
