You know that saying, "always the bridesmaid, never the bride"? Well not only do I seem to fit under that mantra, but I've got a new one, "always at the bachelorette party, never invited to the wedding"
I have been invited to another bachelorette/bridal shower and not actually invited to the wedding. Isn't that weird? Is it that they can't afford another seat at the reception table? A ploy to get more prewedding gifts? Or is it that I'm a better partier and not a good wedding guest? Haha I don't know it's very strange.
The first time I was invited to the wedding but only after we had a blast in Vegas celebrating the bachelor/bachelorette party and the second one was because the wedding was held overseas and I was best friends with the brides sister. Now, the third time, all of my girlfriends from church are equally invited to the party and the wedding...except me!
Does anyone else find this odd? What happened to wedding etiquette?
