I went to San Francisco July 17-19th to help my momma celebrate her birthday. We were supposed to all help Vasi celebrate her 50th but sadly the Lord called her father home a few days before the party was scheduled. Although I was bummed there wasn't going to be party at the Champagne Lounge, there was still some bottle popping going on! :-) We had an amazing bottle David gave my mom. Good champagne is my favorite! Mom and I got manicures and pedicures and we had a lot of time to spend together (I like having my mom all to myself heehee).
Andrew, Erika and Kaelyn came Saturday and Sunday. Kaelyn and I played in the backyard for awhile and I took a couple cute pictures of her. She is so funny. We were picking up the yard decorations and turning them over and saying "eeeeeew" to the dirt that was under them and she cracked up and thought it was hilarious and laughed so hard. It was precious.

She is talking a lot. She says Amy and calls my mom Mama, Dick papa, Andrew Daggy and Erika Mommy. She says up, down, pleeeease, and where mama go? Are some of her favorites.

We went upstairs to Taylor's room to play with some stuffed animals on his bed and she said, "Amy, Amy, Amy, lie down" and pointed where she wanted my to lay. Then she put allllll the stuffed animals on top of us and pretended to sleep. Then Mama came in and she said "mama, lie down" and pointed again. Mom laid on the twin and then kaelyn told me where she wanted me to lay. We were all laying on the twin with stuffed animals all on us and she said, "hug hug" and she wanted to hug and kiss us and then spoon. I swear! Yes, Andrew and Erika, we know there's a looootta lovin and snuggles going on in your house. Haha. She is too funny!
After seeing Toy Story 3 and crying like a baby (and no, it wasn't Kaelyn that was crying) Andrew, Erika and Kae headed home.

Before they took off, I sold my brother my jailbroken iPhone 3G and took the cash over to the apple store to purchase the new iPhone 4. I soon learned they did not have any in stock and I would put on a waiting list for a few weeks. I told the chick who worked at Apple that my brother just took off with my old phone and I was phoneless and screwed. I think she could hear the slight panic in my voice because she said, "Actually, I technically have a 32 gig a guy just turned down because he wasn't eligible for an upgrade and I can sell you that one if you want?" A light came down from heaven and shined on her and a choir of angels sang in the background, "Oh yea I'll take it. The 32 gig is what I wanted!" And just like that I cut in front of everyone else who is still patiently waiting on the list and walked out of the Apple store on cloud 9. Talk about luck!
I am very impressed with the phone thus far. Screen clarity and speed is untouchable and the camera and video is awesome. I am so happy with it.
I also bought this super cute ring on overstock.com. My other antique ring broke after a year so I wanted a replacement. Sooo spoiled! (nice manicure too!)
