Today I learned how to snowboard. I am on a retreat with my Halogen peeps at Jason Sheets house in Big Bear and a group of us took a beginners class to learn how to snowboard. After a two hours I was already on the lift and rockin down the mountain. It was hard at first but the class was really helpful. My butt hurts, my right calf is super sore from steering, and my wrists are sore. The very end of the day I went down an intermediate slope! I got stuck at one point and got really frusterated, forgot everything I had been taught, hit hard on my butt, but I got back up and continued down the mountain. I wanted a real challenge. As if learning wasn't enough for one day!
I am hooked. It's created a monster. Now, I want a board and I am totally coming back soon. It's such a great feeling and I am so happy I could do it.

Half of the group at the end of the day as it started snowing.

Me and Tiffany. My first time on the lift.
