I feel like this birthday was different. Maybe it is because I am surrounded by amazing people who made me feel so loved and appreciated, or maybe it is because I didn’t have any expectations so I was pleasantly surprised. Either way, I loved it. I loved spending time with family and friends for dinner, spending time with my mom for the weekend and at the spa and feeling completely relaxed all day, hanging with my church family, and getting presents and cards of well wishes. I got a ton of phone calls, text messages, facebook posts, that reminded me how loved I am. I even got a few unexpected phone calls that were really nice surprises. After spending 4 days celebrating, last night Randy topped it off with THREE very thoughtful gifts and a feast of a dinner at Walt’s Warf in Seal Beach.
It was a very special birthday and I am a very lucky girl.
