Pnuts allergies

Since I have time to blog while I wait for my flight to SF, I wanted to write a quick update about my Pnuts allergies. Remember last year he struggled with really bad allergies in the summer? Well, I think I finally isolated the allergy to wheat and gluten. It is really common for dogs to have allergies to it and the side affects are itchy skin and the chewing of paws. I have searched all over and finally found treats (bones specifically) that don't have it. It's not easy to find because most rawhides contain gluten. Anyhow, I changed his food over a year ago and have seen an improvement but totally ditzed about the treats and have been occasionally giving him wheat. Hopefully with the treats he will be 100% again. Poor little bugger.
