Sick Puppy

I have a sick puppy.
Last night around 10:30 as I crawled into bed and cuddled up next to Daisy I caught a wiff of this awful stench. Daisy takes a quick sniff of her bum and I laugh realizing my dog just farted in my face.
Not so funny when I woke up this morning to find she has a case of the runs and attempted to make it off the end of my bed onto the ground but didn’t quite make it. Disgusted, I call my boss to tell her I will be late and start cleaning. Oh, the joys of being a mommy! A little help from my friends bleach, !Out Carpet Cleaner (If you don’t have !Out it you should get it. Anyone with animals or children, this is a must have. I promise I have tried everything and it is the best out there), and Lysol spray and it is taken care of but she is still sickened. I put her in her kennel with a rag towel and came home from lunch to more messes. What am I supposed to do? Take a sick day or vacation day for a sick dog? I mean, I’m just one person! I hate to leave her all day. Ugh. Sucks. I am going to make her a rice and cottage cheese concoction that is supposed to work on pups with the runs. Poor sick Daisy.
