I just got a tip off that no one is getting a raise next year. Plus, the 10% bonus I was expecting has dramatically fallen below the 5% range.
The silver lining is that I have paid off all of my debt this year and I am headed into the year debt free. Even my car will be paid off.
Sadly, my pipe dreams of a new flat screen, cable, being blonde again, and those amazing boots are down the tubes as well.
Screw the economy.

beware of office rumors - sometimes they are just not true, sometimes they don't pertain to you. but sometimes they are right on. maybe you'll get a nice surprise, just keep praying that things turn around soon.
