Loner Lens

I went to the eye doctor today and got a soft lens for the time being. It isn't my perfect prescription but it will get me by until my ordered lens arrives. Whoooo hoooo! I asked about getting soft lenses again and he said it’s going to cost me about $400 a year! Right now a pair runs about $250 and I only need to replace them as I lose them or my prescription changes (which thank God hasn’t changed much at all in the past few years). He said 90% of the farsighted population ranges between +1 to +6. I am a +9 and there isn’t as much of a demand for soft lenses in my prescription strength (especially with my astigmatism). So, I guess I am definitely not the norm, and unique down to my eyeballs.
