A smoldering caldron
The front of the news paper this morning read "a smoldering caldron" with a picture with one of the 14,564,279 fires that are burning in Southern California right now. It is pretty disgusting. Everything smells like campfire. My clothes, my hair, my nose hairs! I woke up and my car was covered in ash. You could look straight into the sun all day because the layer of smoke is so thick it creates a blanket over the sun and it always looks like it is dusk. I hope they get it taken care of and I pray for all the people who have been affected or who have evacuated and are worried about their homes. Its really sad, and really nasty on the terrible air quality down here. As if its that great to begin with. No running, working out or riding bikes outside. :( The Santa Ana winds are terrible too. I thought my apartment was going to blow over they were so bad. Paradise isn't supposed to be like this!!
