How many days until Friday Night!?!

I had another eventful weekend. I went to Hollywood on Friday night with Gus to the Troubadour and met up with a friend he hadn't seen for 4 years. The band was called the Black Lips and they were pretty cool. The venue was amazing and the fact that so many epic bands have performed there (including coheed) made it a pretty magical place. We got lost in downtown L.A. Which is always fun. Who closes a highway on a Friday night at 1am? Only in LA right? Saturday morning Becka, Micki, and little Nikkilyn came over for about an hour and a half on their way back up to Merced from San Diego. It was soooo good to see them. I swear Nikkilyn is the cutest little girl in the whole world (pictures of us to come soon!). I miss them! It’s crazy how fast she has grown up. Wow. After that I went to the library in downtown LB and got my next book finally. I hung out with Gus on Saturday night and had a ton of fun as usual and met a lot of really awesome people who I hope to see more of. This Friday is Gus's Halloween party so everyone was talking about how much they are looking forward to it and how cool it is going to be. My costume is almost complete. I just need to get a few finishing touches. I am going to be a 1920's flapper. Should be cute. Sunday I listened to the new Coheed and Cambria cd with Jason that comes out tomorrow. I preordered my copy and the first 1000 copies were autographed so I am the proud owner of a signed cd sleeve from the whole band. The cd is amazing. It didn't really explain the story in great detail but the music is phenomenal. I am so excited about it. After a quick nap I was off to church where I hung out with people from the evening halogen service until 10pm. It was a really great time and I am thankful to be included and mingle with other Christian kids my age... Sometimes I feel like they are kind of hard to come by down here. I spend more of my time standing up for/debating my beliefs with people then I do being surrounded by people who share the same beliefs and know where I am coming from. I look forward to Sunday nights and can't wait to hang out again next week. Same old stuff planned this week and counting down the days until next weekend!
