Cheers to Fridays, good books and sore muscles

It’s Friday!
Hooray for another fun weekend ahead…except for the small problem…I am broke as a joke. I saw 4 digits in my checking account and got a little overzealous and now I am paying the consequences. Forgot I had some extra bills this month. Oops. Money status aside, I have had a very accomplished week that I am very proud of. I started rereading East of Eden on Monday. I haven’t read a book in a really long time. I forgot how much I love reading. I bought a couple books here and there, mostly at Costco but none of them really pulled me in. Leave it up to John Steinbeck to reel me in once again. Good authors are hard to come by. He doesn’t just tell a story, he dwells on his thoughts and explains his theories in depth. Anyhow, so I have been very good about reading. It definitely helps when the book is really good. PLUS, I have been working out every single day this week in order to meet my minimum work outs for work. One of the perks of working for an amazing company is their reward system with working out at our on site facility. Each month you have to work out 15 times for 3 months in a row and they compensate you with $250 bucks. That makes an extra $1000 a year! I think that is a great idea because not only will I say fit, I can go spend all the money on new threads for my perfected physique. Haha. I am pretty proud of myself reading, and working out religiously. That takes quite a bit of self control and I am rockin it. Cheers to good books and sore muscles.
