Tonight is our Annual Christmas Party for Clean Energy and it also the day they reveal our bonus and raise amounts. I've been patient, I've been praying, and I've been hoping that my boss would come through for me and get me the bonus and raise I deserved this year. Last year, I had a great year, getting a raise above average and I was happy with it. However, this year has been a lot of patience and sacrifice and I felt like I doubled my responsibility, stepped up my game, and doubled what I achieved last year.
Praise the Lord, upper management couldn't agree more and paid me a double raise than last year and a bigger bonus too! I received a double digit raise! Can you believe it!? I am so stoked. I totally deserved it and am sooooo thankful for a boss and a bosses boss that is fair and knows what their employees deserve. I am also so thankful for Gods provision not just with a career in a field that I feel very passionate about, but with coworkers that I love to go to work with everyday, and bosses who appreciate me.
And, I am going to enjoy the Christmas party that much more tonight and have a handsome boy on my arm to walk in with. My heart my explode. Working for next years raise and bonus starts tomorrow though and it's back to kickin ass. ;-)
God is SOOOO GOOOD and the glory is all His! AMEN!
