Merry Christmas to ME! A flat screen LED.

Look what I gots! I'm a very blessed very happy little girl.

On Sunday I did some Christmas shopping (finally) for friends and family but also did a TON of shopping for me. Heehee. I have no control. There were just too many sales! Sheesh.

Earlier in the morning, I was eating cereal and watching some tv, and suddenly my tv turned off! YESS! I thought, it finally died and I have an excuse to go buy a new one! Not so much...it was just the power supply strip I had been using since 1998. So, while on my shopping spree I went to Target to "buy a power supply" for $10 and they nicely place those little buggers right next to the flat screens.

Dangerous.

I wander down the isle and I see it... A Westinghouse LED 32 inch $275 *a $120 dollar savings*. I've been looking at flat screens for 2 years and have never seen an LED this cheap. I call my mom to discuss this decision and knew this was the one I had been waiting for. I also decided to purchase the 3 year warranty for $29 which I thought was a really good deal too.

I got the HD cable box and HDMI hook up at Time Warner today (they made it surprisingly easy to change out my box) and officially have it hooked up. It is amazing! Why did I wait so long? Well, because these types of purchases I don't make on a whim or easily. It has to feel right and this definitely felt right.

I am thankful for C.E. giving me a generous bonus (quite a bit more than last year) and my patience while I waited. It was definitely worth it.
