Humble pie...you taste sour and like dollar bills

After over 10 years of driving, and 9 years with my "Vic" I've never gotten into an accident...until yesterday. I got into my first fender bender...and yup, my fender is definitely bent. I "thought" I could make it into lane 3 since the on ramp and lane 4 were backing up but was too busy looking over my left shoulder at this douche who wasn't letting me in...and whack, I wrapped my shit on some dudes bumper. I'm not gonna lie, traffic around here is intense and although I avoid all freeways like the plague, when I am on them, I have a tendency to drive like a bitch. I don't flip people off or cut people off, but I just can't handle people who drive 50-60 mph, or people who don't move it or lose it. Defensive driving around here is a way of life. Well, this is a little slice of humble pie and it tastes sour and like dollar bills. Oh well, I needed a new bumper anyway. His car barely has some paint transfer and scrapes but no body damage at all and at least he was nice about it.

Poor Vic. (small ding to the far right was an old mark where I hit a pole while the parking break was on...another interesting story. And, you can see a couple marks were I hit a latter on the freeway a few years ago right below it.)
I just cleaned, detailed, and waxed him this weekend too and then I go and smash his face right into someones ass. He's sad...and apparently going to be with me much longer than I anticipated. Me and Vic...in it for the long haul.
