Oktoberfest at Old World Village

My mom is in town!!

I was so happy Jelena invited my mom and I to join her and some of her friends from San Pedro to Oktoberfest at Old World Village in Huntington Beach. (http://www.oldworld.ws/) I've heard of it but each year but I've never gone.

I fell in love with EVERTHING! The food, the beer, the cute little German boys in lederhosen. I am sooooo German. Representin! All I could think about was that I wished my brother could be there cause he would love it too. Hopefully next year he can make it.

We also had this awesome Fig Vodka shot. I was sooooo good. I know it sounds like a strange combination but it was sooo tasty. Here is pics of that....

Then, all these guys started lining up around the dance floor and one of the german boys told us they are doing a beer drinking contest. My response, "WTF!? What about the girls? I'd take any of these boys, any day." They finished drinking a 16 oz. in like 3 seconds. It was super impressive. They then announced, "Now, its the ladies turn!" Oh crap...put your money where your mouth is Amy!

After deciding that Jelena and I would do it together we line up...only to find they only have 1 ticket left! Because it was my birthday weekend Jelena said I could take the last ticket but I better make her proud.

I'm scared.
