Our office Christmas party was last night, it was a Hawaiian theme. At first the buzz was fairly negative about the theme. Where were we supposed to find Hawaiian clothes in December? I found a beautiful dress at Ross for $20 bucks and got Randy's shirt for $20 at Kohl's and we looked stylin. I got a lot of complements and everyone looked so festive. It was a much more relaxed and fun atmosphere instead of the stuffy, formal, regular old Christmas party. We even had a DJ. At one point I was doing the Roger Rabbit to MC Hammer! And we all sang baby got back at the tops of our lungs. Yea, I know!? Too funny. Randy and I danced allllll night. He can totally keep up which is AWESOME!
This was the first time Randy and I were officially public about our relationship to our coworkers. Although, he is only in my office weekly at best, and is a consultant and not technically my coworker, we still felt the need to keep in on the low. I am so relieved everyone knows and our relationship was welcomed and congratulated.
