Long Beach Half...check

I finally ran the Long Beach Half Marathon! I say finally because 2 have passed since I've lived here and I sat them both out. A bum no more, I ran it. I ran it in my second best time 2:15:30. It was a really easy, fun run. I enjoyed running through my old stompin grounds and checkin everything out. We ran from Shoreline Village to the Queen Mary, then back down Ocean blvd to the end of Belmont Shore and back. It was great. I feel better than I felt after the SF half in July. I shaved a minute off my time. It sounds lame but a minute is hard to do. Plus I had to stop and pee so I bet it woulda been like 2 minutes. Haha. Next up is Huntington Beach Half Marathon in February. I am hoping to incourage Jelena to run it too and my Mom and Dick BETTER be there or be a bum! I sadly didn't get any champagne this time but I did get a double double from in and out. ;-)

My favorite part...the medal!!! 25th anniversary.

Randy was there to cheer me on and hang out at the festivities after.
Oh and, this is the first half marathon I didn't chaffe. I think it's the new Nike threads I bought yesterday. I love Nike! I wear their shoes and their clothes are THE BEST. I should rep them I love them so much.
Now, it's time for bed. I'm exhausted.

I know, I was soooo exhausted. Seriously, I was in bed at 9pm and asleep by 930. Hopefully see you next week!
