I haven’t blogged in awhile but I am still alive and kickin. Here’s what’s going through my head besides lyrics to songs and music...

· I have all these paintings I want to paint but as it turns out painting is an expensive hobby. Booo. I gotta drop like $60 bucks for paint and mediums to start and that’s not including canvases. I can’t justify it because I am starting out with creations for myself so it’s not like I’m flipping them for any sort of profit. Humf. I’ll probably just bite the bullet and sacrifice for the sake of art.
· Running isn’t cheap either. I am getting a pair of running shoes tonight. Jelena and I are going to this store in Costa Mesa that monitors how you run and fits you into the perfect shoe. I can’t believe I’ve been running for 3 years and never been fitted. Its loooong overdue.
· Earlier today, I saw Airforce One land in Long Beach from my office window. About 20 minutes later we saw 5 helicopters escort him down to OC fair grounds for a town hall meeting tonight. It was cool to see go right past my office.
· I still haven’t taken Modest Mouse out of my CD player since the concert… It’s almost been a month.
· My Coheed/Neverender set shipped yesterday!
· I want to get a plasma TV just to watch the DVD of the concert. It might be the one thing that finally pushes me to get a new TV.
· Being single is still awesome except when I have a lot of groceries to be carried in, or a bolt is tightened a little too tight, or light bulbs need replacing, or if I want to go for a run at dusk but am too afraid to go by myself, or when I make just enough dinner for two portions and never want to eat the leftovers. Anyhow, so, I guess I have a couple dates coming up. Mehhhh. It should be fun.
· I saw the movie Milk last weekend. By far the best movie I’ve seen this year. I loved it. The cinematography was great, the acting amazing, and the fact that it was shot in San Francisco and contained actual footage of the events made it magical. It’s a must see.
· I fell in love with This American Life podcasts. Totally check um out if you haven’t heard it before.
· I am on a ton of medication cause my face blew up and I felt terrible last week. I had this horrible “reaction” (as I have named it) to a bunch of bad shit and I am taking 9 pills a day! Yea, I know! My poor kidneys and liver. It’s still not back to normal.
· Due to the massive amounts of drugs I am inhaling I did not get to have a celebratory green beer for St. Patty’s Day. It’s cool cause I wasn’t in the mood anyway and Jelena and I went on an amazing run.
· Yesterday after the run, I got pooped on by a bird. First time ever.
· I need a vacation. Last year, I got sooooo spoiled with the trip to Hawaii. I really want to get out of here but I don’t know where to go and I don’t want to go by myself. Work is becoming mundane. I need a break away from it for awhile. In June I start accruing 3 vacation weeks a year. Let the REAL fun begin!
