Good Food and Good Friends

I spent most of this weekend with Derek and Jelena. Friday, Jelena and I had chick flick night and then went to breakfast and shopping on Saturday. I finally got a new purse and wallet since my favorites were stolen in September. I am really picky with purses and wallets and I finally found a billabong set half off and couldn't resist. It feels good to have a set and not the old crap I was using.
Saturday night I went over to Dereks and he cooked me an AMAAAZING dinner!

Spinach salad with feta cheese and really good dressing (can't rememeber the name), pizza with garlic, olive spread, and another layer of cheese, and a grilled portabella mushroom. Yummm. He is a great cook! It was such a treat to have someone cook for me.
After dinner we hung out and then met up with Jelena at Hennessy's for a drink.

Dereks roommate and friends in the complex met up with us too. 3 bars and 5 drinks later, we taxied home around midnight. We had so much fun dancing to Britney and Michael Jackson at the Irisher (a little hole in the wall bar) haha.
It really was a fun time. I have such rad friends. I never thought I would make so many close friends down here. They make my life so full and complete.
