Thanksgiving

From Thanksgiving

It was a surprisingly good Thanksgiving this year. I say surprisingly because I was not feeling the holidays but they are starting to grow on me. Overview of my Thanksgiving:

♥ I got a chance to hang out with some friends and family I haven’t seen in a long time. It’s always hard coordinating everything and I feel bad not being able to see everyone I want. I have to start organizing a few days in advance. Ugh.
♥ I car pooled with my friend Marlon. We were very thankful to have each other because what should have been a 4 ½ hour ride took 7 hours to get to Merced!! It was crazy. The way home was a breeze and it was so nice not to drive for once. Doing that drive by myself all the time is suuuuper lame!
♥ Played Wii like crazy. Dang those things are freaking fun!
♥ Hung with my Pops. I think that was the first time me and my brother and my pops got together in awhile. I realllllly loved it. I loved it that we were all stoked to go to the pawn shop. Haha Dang Pirtle genes. We were all really bummed it was closed. Next time!
♥ I spent a lot of time with my brother which was super rad! Erika is the hommie too. I am so happy to see her doing better. I am glad my brother picked a rad chick cause I would hella hate on some beezie but she is awesome.
♥ My dad gave me my grandpa’s old Nikon FM so I can use the lens on the new body I just bought on Ebay today. I can’t wait. I love that Nikon!
♥ I played and loved my baby a lot. She is so cute when she smiles! What a cheesier!
♥ I felt a lot more content in Merced this time. I didn’t feel the usual dread and irritation with being back. I think sometimes you have to appreciate where you’ve come from to fully appreciate where you are. I don’t know why I try to act like I’m not a country girl at heart. That’s where I grew up and I need to appreciate it and find comfort in the fact that it never changes and is so predictable.
♥ I wasn’t able to take pics with my Minolta cause my battery was D.O.A.
♥ Dinner in Visalia was really good. Yummm. Janey and her cute table decorations was so adorable. I hope I am that rad at 80 somethin.
♥ “That shit goes” haha LOL
