I found the perfect date through my friend Lindsay and her date Scott last week and managed to add him to the guest list last minute. His name card said, “Pirtle Guest” which I thought was hilarious. His name is Mike and he was the best date ever. We had a great time together. I am glad I went with my gut and asked him to be my date. I got so many compliments on what a great guy he is. I really think I enjoyed it a lot more having a date. There were a couple snafu’s like my eyelash coming unglued halfway through the night, but I pulled it off with grace and some good laughs. Ha!
The party was held at The Island Hotel in Newport Beach (right by Fashion Island). It was beautiful and probably twice as big as last year! Clean Energy sure has grown in a year. It is always fun to see everyone lookin classy and boozing it up. The Clean Energy family, laughin, smoking cigars, and dancing to swing/big band music. Gotta love it.
Sadly, Boone could not make it due to some very important engagements. Next year Boone! ;)
