Life will hand you lemons, and we all know the age old saying, “When life hands you lemons, make lemonade”. I have found a difference in this saying if God is a part of your life and you are active in prayer. When you are given lemons (which sadly is inevitable) and you ask God with an open heart for help, He doesn’t just turn your lemons into lemonade, He gives you a whole feast. Salad, Turkey, Mashed potatoes, Veggies, Fruit, and of course the most amazing dessert you’ve ever tasted. He doesn’t just quench your thirst, He fills you, and keeps you full and satisfied. Although it might take awhile for your prayers to be answered and your lemons to become a feast, it WILL come. I promise.
Otherwise, you’re just stuck drinking over sweetened lemonade.
