Pnut is better

Pnut went to the vet yesterday after not coughing at all on Tuesday. She said he probably had a mild case of kennel cough and that it is possible for them to fight it on their own without antibiotics. I needed to take him anyway because he has a skin allergy that needed to be looked at. Poor Pnut is allergic to something that blooms in the summer and he is so itchy he scratches at his arms, stomach, and chest. She gave me some topical spray and some oral stuff to help the itching and told me to give him Benadryl when it flares up in the summer. Some days are better than others, he walks around all depressed and itchy, and other days he is fine and happy. I put the topical on him last night and he was soooo happy. He pranced around the house all night. Poor pup was so miserable and itchy. Hopefully he will be feeling better now.
