Thankful

Never underestimate the power of prayer. Not only those you pray for yourself, but also the prayers bestowed upon you and the prayers for others. Last week I was struggling hardcore dealing with a bunch of stuff and everything turned on a dime. I am so thankful for the prayers I received because they worked wonders in my life. I was feeling so much better by Friday, and by Sunday I barely remembered the crazy stressful week I had. Here’s what I did:

Becka, Micky, and Nikkilyn made a special trip just to see me and my new pad on Saturday! We spent some time on the beach and then went to Lamppost Pizza.

We got RING POPS!!!

Nikkilyn is the cutest little girl ever! It makes me happy to see Becka doing good with her cute little family. They are so blessed.

After that, Jason (aka Sheets) and I went and got our favorite frozen yogurt and headed to the batting cages and met up with friends from church so they could work on their swing for their game on Sunday afternoon. Still wearing my bathing suit under my sun dress, we all went and saw Tropic Thunder, Ben Stiller’s new comedy. It was good but I liked Pineapple Express better. Surprisingly, it turned into a pretty busy, fun filled Saturday.

Sunday, after hanging with the pups on the couch for awhile…

…I went and cheered on the church softball team but sadly they lost their chance to be in the playoffs by a few points. I gave Jason a ride to church so we had to be their early for the worship team rehearsal. I like going to church early…the longer I get to hang out there the better. Service was amazing, Izzy did a great job, and I the love for my church and church family grows more and more every Sunday. Now, I am praying that Collette gets Saturday off so we can meet the crew up at Lake Arrowhead to go camping for the weekend. Kelli volunteered to watch the pups so I can get a weekend away into the mountains and different scenery. I miss the mountains a lot.

Oh and I forgot to post this picture of me and Pnut by my car after I washed, waxed, and polished it a few weekends ago. My car was so sad after it was violated so I showed it some love by making it beautiful again.

I still have no ATM card or checks or any way to pay my bills. I haven't heard anything yet if they caught the Cabo Criminal(s) but I haven't contact the investigator either. I guess they would call me if they knew anything or needed anything. Oh well.

I am thankful for:
Family, Friends, Prayer, Love, Halogen, Izzy, Frances, Jason Sheets, Collette, Kelli, Hugs, Little kid hugs, Worship, Comedies, Feeling better, Sand castles, and The Littles.
