A message from Amy to all her faithful Creepers

I wrote the book on creeping. For those that don’t know what creeping is, it is when you check out someone’s blog/website/etc numerous times a day and read what they write and check out pictures and links and spend some time searching their page. For me, having hours of access to a computer makes creeping a daily event. I think methods like plaxo, blogspot, myspace and facebook are great ways to keep people updated and in touch as well as an outlet for creative expression, a place to voice your opinion, and share your feelings. By posting stuff you know you will be creeped…that’s the point.
What bothers me is creepers on the low, creepers that don’t admit to creeping. You don’t know how many times I hear from friends and family that they actively read my blog and enjoy reading my posts and viewing my pictures. They complement me and give me words of encouragement, but they never comment or respond to my posts after viewing. I know how much traffic this site gets on a daily basis and besides my Mom, Grandma, and Aunt Debbie, ya’ll are creepin but you ain’t speakin!
My purpose in starting my narcissistic blog was to keep the people I love up to date with my daily ramblings and idiosyncrasies now that I live far away from most of you. I post this because I want to hear from you too. I love my Grandmas comments of positive encouragement and support and I am happy she gets a kick out of my posts. My dad is another faithful reader. He really enjoys seeing what I am up to and thinking about because otherwise a few days might go by that we don’t catch up.
Moral of the story is, if you creep you should speak. If you enjoy a blog or hate a blog, let me know! You are the reason I write this and you are the ones I want to hear from.
