Merced, a night out and Holy Jim Trail

So, I went home this weekend and it was really nice. It was refreshing to see good ol Merced in all it’s splendor, hasn’t changed much at all. I miss (besides my family, obviously), bear creek, all the pretty trees, my cats Champ and Mixie, being able to drive anywhere and not deal with traffic, the simplicity of knowing where everything is, parking, the way the valley smells like a mixture of hay, pesticides and feet (haha), no crowds, silence, and LA NITA’S! My pups got along great with my mom’s new puppy, Gabby. Pnut wasn’t too thrilled with hanging with a bunch of girls, and Daisy became very good girlfriends with her Cousin Gabby. They were even giving each other kisses! Crazy, never would have guessed. Here are some pics:

We're all friends, hangin out in the backyard

Should have taken more!! Next time!

Last Friday Jason and I went out with his neighbors, Mike and Natalie and some of Jasons friends from the Daily Titan, and then woke up early, hung over and tired, and went on a hike in the Santa Ana Mountains. It was a ton of fun here are pics from last weekend:

The next morning on The Holy Jim Trail Hike:

We were so hardcore to get up and do this after a night of going out to a bar!

Another scary tunnel on the way back

Let the good times continue! Tomorrow is the Angels vs Yankees game I have been waiting alllll season for! Possibly another Warped Tour concert (with more Coheed) this Saturday and a Rayah (Jason’s friend Tim’s band) has another show soon too. Hope you enjoyed the pics and more to come!

Good to hear you had a good time in Merced and had a chance to go back and do a lot of just what you wanted to do. I agree, Merced has a different look after you have been away for awhile. Also go glad to see and hear about your life in Long Beach. I am so glad you seem to be adjusting, which I figured you would. Keep up the blog - I love looking at it.
